Our time at Absolute has been a real learning curve, compared to University, the information has been a more relevant to the industry. We were made to feel very welcome, easing us into the working life of a designers and importantly, helping us fine tune our CV’s and portfolio work to be more industry specific.

We have been given many exciting projects to work on, and some not as exciting, but all relevant to bettering our skills and knowledge to help us appreciate the arduous tasks that a designer would have to do. Putting as much effort in to the small jobs as the big jobs.

We were put straight on to live briefs as well as some internal projects to get a feel for the amount of work we would have to encounter on a regular basis. Working on live briefs for a luxury products company, energy broker and wallpaper retailer.

Like a Pokémon, we have levelled up with new skills and knowledge, we are more armed and ready to progress into the world of design, looking to take on new challenges and bring our influences into design, whether together or as a lone wolf.

Having a laugh while we work, playing pool to chill out and not to mention the vast amount of butty shops that have provided a delicious recharge to our creativity. We would like to thank the whole Absolute team for everything, the experience and the new friends we have made and hope to come back in the near future.
