Faye is part of our Project Management team, commonly referred to as Fayezilla (though not to her face) She looks after the running of our projects and studio time, and is the Queen of Trello.

What is it about Absolute which made you want to come here?

I’d wanted to get into the creative and marketing industry for a couple of years, and when the role at Absolute came up I jumped at the chance. From walking into the studio on my interview, it was clear that this place was a great fit for me, it allowed the staff to express themselves in a way which I’d never been exposed to before coming from such a corporate background.

What were you doing before you came here?

Prior to coming here, I’d always worked in football clubs. Which whilst exciting and fast paced, it is very corporate. Personally for me, I like knowing that I’m making a difference, which you don’t always get when you are part of a 650 strong workforce.

What does an average day involve in the studio for you?

It’s very cliché, but there is most definitely no average day for me. I can be organising a photoshoot, writing a brief for a website, pitching for new business, working with copywriters on brochure text, running focus groups, attending exhibitions, organising print, proof reading.. just on a Monday morning.

What has been your favourite project at Absolute so far?

I enjoy all of our projects, but stand out for me would be Queens University Belfast and Incorez. They were very hands on and detailed projects, involved lots of planning, organising, and Gantt charts (which I love) Does that make me sound sad? Take that bit out…

What’s on your playlist at the minute?

I’m pretty open when it comes to music, my current playlist includes the obligatory Smiths, Courteeners, Oasis and Stone Roses classics, interspersed with Beyonce, Kanye, The Cranberries, Shed Seven, Marvin Gaye, Bobby Womack, finished off with a healthy dose of whatever is being overplayed in Ibiza at the minute.

Best gig you’ve ever been to?

It would have to be the Stone Roses at Heaton Park.

Favourite place you’ve ever visited

Las Vegas, without a doubt… what’s not to love? Cocktails, Gambling and an abundance of Elvis's. Until I manage to get to Texas, I doubt I’ll go anywhere that makes me as happy as Las Vegas does!

An interesting fact..

I love sports, and have trophies for being a Goalkeeper at school. Unfortunately, when everyone else in the league grew, and I stayed at 5’2, my goalkeeping career came to an abrupt end.

Favourite TV Show at the minute? (and why)

I can’t ever sit and watch a full season of anything, I'm terrible. However I’m a massive Crime drama nerd, so at the minute I’m really into Chicago PD.
