Month in pictures - October 2015

October was no different to September, with a wide variety of projects coming through the studio, from Premier League photoshoots, location videos and ecommerce web builds. We also welcomed our newest team member, Andy Chubb, who joins our Development team. Here's a snapshot of our month in pictures.

 

Andy Chubb joins our Development team. He has worked for some great agencies in the past, and we are excited to welcome him to the Absolute team. 

 

We were asked to film some Goldsmiths conferences on location throughout the UK, and then edit the footage into a great final video. The final edit will be shown to all Senior Goldsmiths staff at the Annual Conference to be held in November in Sheffield. 

 

Absolute were asked to bring to life a concept for a Premier league football clubs annual christmas campaign. We did just that, creating a room set, hanging a christmas tree using fishing wire (don't ask) wallpapering at 8pm, and plating up Christmas dinners. Teasers will be released throughout November on social media channels, but keep your eye out for the final shot!

 

Chris & Simon attended the DADI awards down in London where Absolute were nominated for an award in the UX and Usability category. We managed to pick up a commendation for the site, H2. Which was obviously a cause for celebration! 

We finally took delivery of the prospectus we designed for our lovely clients over at Abbey Gate College. We think it looks pretty great (if we do say so ourselves) 

 

Our MD Chris managed to squeeze in a holiday (of sorts) when he took a trip to Dubai last week. He did find some time for a few business meetings though!

We had a GAP Kids shoot at Absolute last week. I'm joking, this handsome little chap is our Creative Director Simon's son, Jack. He popped over to the studio to see his dad, and was just so adorable Mark HAD to get a quick shot of him. We think he's all set for a career in modelling! 

We paid another visit to our lovely clients over at the University of Glasgow, what a beautiful place!
