Box Power is a community interest company and a business energy consultancy like no other. They’re not here to make money. They’re here to make a difference.

In fact, they’re the first not-for-profit energy consultants for business. Box Power is the brainchild of entrepreneurial energy broker, Corin Dalby. He decided that he wanted to use his 20 years in the industry to set up a company that could give something back to communities and charities close to his heart.

Energy know-how

In terms of energy procurement, working with Box Power is a ‘Win, Win’ situation. Not only are they competitively priced, they also give all their profits to charity, which is a brilliant story for the companies they work with. We highlighted this by positioning Box Power with a rational and emotive call-to-action ‘Make the change. Make a difference’. We then created a brand icon with a bit of a spark, which also made a great framing device for key messages.

Bright ideas

We then set about creating a brand personality for Box Power, bringing it to life with the right tone-of-voice, bright colours, typography and graphics. We also developed a set of graphic icons to highlight the six key messages which underpin the positioning. We then looked at emotive photography, which covered both the business and charitable aspects of the company. All the brand assets were then packaged up in a brand guidelines, created in a style that reflected the personality of the brand.

Web power

Box Power needed a website that delivered top level information and that also gave the viewer more insight into the charities they’re involved with, like Macmillan and The Box Foundation. We designed and built a responsive website that did exactly that, bringing to life all the key messages and brand assets in one place in time for the launch.
