It’s been a busy year for the team here at Absolute in terms of website design and development – and we’re delighted to be able to show you one of our recent projects with Top 100 law firm, Keoghs.

After a competitive four-way pitch, we were appointed to redesign and build the law firm’s new website with the aim to improve functionality and usability, while updating the overall design and layout to better showcase the law firm’s most important asset – its people.

Keoghs is a fantastic business; it’s one of the leading providers of defendant legal and claims-related services to insurers, self-insureds and other suppliers to the insurance sector, and has well and truly earned itself a reputation for being an innovative and modern law firm, with an array of industry experts and over 1200 employees. The old website, however, did not reflect this – and it was our job to change that.

We started by modernising the brand, moving away from a traditionally corporate feel, but keeping mindful of the companies original identity and their 45 year history.  As a part of the project, we shot and art directed new photography, which is more contemporary and reflects a journalistic style, but most importantly brings personality to the website through people. We also introduced a typeface that can be used for both online and offline collateral alongside a fresher colour palette, pinstripe pattern and iconography which allows the brand to remain consistent and adaptable wherever it is used.

The old site was difficult to navigate, a complete re-structure of the site architecture was conducted, focusing particularly on the ‘What we Know’ section, bringing thought leadership articles and opinion pieces written by the Keoghs team to the forefront which would be more accessible from all pages. Using our bespoke CMS offering – Absolute Control – the marketing team are now be able to keep the site up-to-date and categorise all of its rich and varied content easily and quickly.

Making sure the site is mobile optimised was a priority for us as well – especially considering 40 percent of Keoghs’ traffic is from mobile and tablet users.

Working closely with the team at Keoghs, we’ve designed and built a site that aligns its online presence with its brand and ethos, showcasing its compelling content effectively and firmly cementing its position as an innovative, modern law firm. We’ve fulfilled the brief to create an exciting, vibrant and technologically advanced solution that not only meets the needs of Keoghs, but also those of the user.

It’s always nice to get feedback from a happy client and here’s what Chris Holmes, marketing executive at Keoghs, had to say about the project:

Absolute really stood out from the crowd for their ability to hit the brief we gave them from the start. They were incredibly easy to work with on a day to day basis and genuinely went the extra mile to meet deadlines and our go live date. The finished site provides a fresh and intuitive user experience which has already proved popular with clients, and the bespoke CMS is both easy to use and as intuitive as the site itself.
