Lucy is the latest recruit to the Absolute team. She joins us with a wealth of agency experience, and some fresh ideas for the studio. Lucy hails from down South, adding to our ever growing list of accents in the studio. With her penchant for hats, coffee and 90's music, we reckon she'll fit in just fine.

What is it about Absolute which made you want to come here?
How long have you got? Amazing offices, brand spanking new photography studios, cool clients, a growing agency with big ideas and close to home to boot! Being part of the Absolute team was simply too good an opportunity to miss.

What were you doing before you came here?
I’ve lived Advertising from a very young age when I used to badger my Dad to take me to work with him at Leo Burnetts. That exposure to the characters, working environments and culture in those early days led to University then back to London where I cut my teeth with some amazing agencies and people, and got paid for the privilege! My previous roles have been mainly in Traffic Management at Digital Agencies (Building Blocks) as well as Advertising Agencies (TBWA) Absolute is my first Studio Management role and its proving to be a really great challenge.

Which project has been your favourite throughout your career?
Working on the GHD account for TBWAManchester was a dream job, the shoots were incredible to be part of. Seeing the final TV and Print/Press outputs over the course of the year and knowing I was part of the team still makes me proud to this day.

What’s on your playlist at the minute?
Adele 25 – or ‘the shouty songs’ as my little boy calls them. I’m a 90’s girl at heart though, I don’t care what you say 1995 was a magical year for music, I find myself back there quite regularly!

Best gig you’ve ever been to?
Felix Da Housecat at Big Weekend in Perth back in 2004. Next time I saw him in Sankeys, I blagged a chat in his DJ box using that.

Favourite place you’ve ever visited
I’ve been lucky enough to do some travelling in my time, so there is a long list, but I’d have to say for unspoilt beauty and bonus Cricket test action, Galle in Sri Lanka wins out.

An interesting fact.
I was born on Friday 13th, some people say this explains a lot…

Favourite TV Show at the minute? (and why)
Luther, can’t think why though...

Where do you go for inspiration?
I try to visit somewhere totally new every year whether that be in the UK or abroad – people and places are my inspiration. This year I’m ticking off Italy.
